Energy Equipment Suppliers

Many customers feel overwhelmed by persistent requests from equipment suppliers to install/modify/retrofit equipment, lighting and/or controls to achieve greater energy efficiency and savings.
The most common pitch is a performance-based contract where the customer and supplier share in material and "measurable" energy savings. On the face of it, this seems like a winning proposition, if only it weren't for other suppliers making similar claims.
Two principal issues exist for customers in deciding on equipment purchases: 1) What is the capital payback period? and 2) How will this affect other other parts of my business (see diagram)?
Each of these issues is challenging for a customer who most frequently is not an expert on energy matters. Given the potential costs for equipment and/or uninformed choices, there is increasing reluctance to pursue major investments.
Agilis Energy can help an energy equipment supplier quantify its value proposition through assessing the impact of the equipment on the customer's total energy-related systems. This analysis can also assist the equipment supplier to better target customers by energy use characteristics and geographic location including state of regulatory reform.
